Background:
Served apprenticeship with Lucas Industries. Have worked in the building and factory services sector for Michelin Tyre Company, Liverpool City Council and Liverpool Area Health Authority. Moved back into private industry as works Engineer/site services manager with a Pharmaceutical company. Accountability for Health and Safety and was responsible for the majority of Health and Safety training including the training of Managers, Supervisors and Safety Representatives.
Set up my own Health & Safety Consultancy in 1996 with my wife and have extensive experience in patient & manual handling. I also lecture on Health and Safety at a Local Colleges of Further Education. I am a corporate member of IOSH and a Registered Safety Practitioner
