Background:
Don followed a career in construction, tackling most if not all roles within the construction process, including running his own company. Joining the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral in 1990, he became the Council's Head of Corporate Occupational Health & Safety in 1993. Don has a Degree in Safety, Health & Environmental Management and is a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner and Member of IOSH.
Leaving local government in 2004 Don formed Beacon Risk Solutions Ltd. Beacon is a risk management consultancy offering training and advice to a wide variety of clients to help them protect their workforce, business and reputation.
